Join us for a great morning ride through some of San Diego's best backroads! We’re meeting up at Dark Horse Coffee at 9 AM to fuel up with some caffeine, then it's kickstands up at 9:30 sharp. We’ll take a scenic route out to the Lyons Valley Trading Post, perfect for riders who love winding roads and open views. Welcome to Your Baja On-Road Adventure!
Mark your calendar for an unforgettable 3-day, all-inclusive on-road tour through Northern Baja California from February 21st to February 23rd, 2025! This journey will take you from San Diego through scenic coastal routes and vibrant Baja towns to the shores of the Sea of Cortez. From delicious culinary experiences to unforgettable views, this tour captures the heart of Baja with every mile.
Itinerary
Day 1 – San Diego to San Felipe (270 miles)
Our adventure begins as we cross into Mexico through Tijuana, stopping in Rosarito for registration and a welcome breakfast. Then, we’ll ride to the famous Valle de Guadalupe for a winery tour and a special presentation on the history of local winemaking. Continuing across the peninsula, we’ll reach San Felipe and unwind with a beachfront seafood dinner along the Sea of Cortez.
Day 2 – San Felipe to Bay of LA (210 miles)
Ride alongside the stunning Sea of Cortez, taking in breathtaking views and natural beauty. We’ll stop for lunch at Gonzaga Bay before continuing to the Bay of LA for an evening in this serene and picturesque location.
Day 3 – Bay of LA to San Diego (420 miles)
Crossing back to the Pacific side, we’ll travel through scenic Baja roads, stopping at El Rosario for a memorable lunch at Mama Espinoza's. To wrap up the journey, we’ll enjoy a lobster dinner in Puerto Nuevo before returning to San Diego.

Accommodations – 2 nights in shared rooms. (options for private room available for additional cost)

What You Need:
Motorcycle in good conditions, helmet, gloves, knee pads, and boots.
Schedule:
9am to 10am theoretical, moto setup, warm ups / 11am to 2 pm practical exercises
Our main focus at ORS is for riders to learn the correct techniques for:
Traction control
Braking and attack positions
Cornering, (sitting and standing)
Uphill and downhill techniques
Techniques for overcoming rocks, sand, and river crossings
Suspension decompression

Join our epic group ride from San Diego to the Moto Beach Classic at Bolsa Chica State Beach! Whether you’re starting with us in San Diego or hopping on somewhere along the route, everyone’s welcome. On Sunday the 19st of May 2024, we are teaming up to ride in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before we press our tweed and polish our boots, we are asking you to join us in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
